My lovely customer made the same quilt again for her other daughter. Quilted again with 'asianfans'. I dropped her quilt off last week and she loved it so much, she rang me in the afternoon expressing her excitement. So very sweet of her.

Little charity quilt
Took some time this afternoon and quilted this little premmie quilt for BlanketLovez, which is going to Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital. Very bright and cheerful. Quilted with 'the garden'.

Superheroes version 1
My dear friend Lisa made 3 superheroes quilts, for son, nephew and friend. I had so much fun quilting this as I was given free reign over design and thread colour. I felt I hijacked the quilt a little :-). It still shows the superhero fabrics off, and the quilting enhances the plainer sections. The design is called Gotham, by the very clever australian pattern designer Keryn Emmerson.

The journey so far
Wow, what an exciting 4 months it has been.
My statler stitcher arrived in early November and quilting could be classified as my new addiction. To start with I finished off a few old "friends"from my patchwork past, then I volunteered my services to a local children's charity BlanketLovez (www.blanketlovez.com) which at the time was making quilts for kids traumatized in last years bush fires in the Blue Mountains. Meanwhile I had my business cards printed, a pattern folder organized and a few ladies from Pioneer Patchwork at Narellan have given me a try (thank you!)
